CATCH Power and Clipsal by Schneider Electric working together for Energy Masters

CATCH Power is excited to share that we are the exclusive hardware provider for the South Australian Energy Masters program, as part of our partnership with Schneider Electric and their smart home product portfolio. This groundbreaking initiative is designed to help everyday South Aussies take control of their energy use, save on their bills and reduce their carbon footprint.

What is Energy Masters?

Led by SA Power Networks and supported by the Government of South Australia, Energy Masters  is a smart home trial that will upgrade 500 homes across the state. These homes will receive a free Clipsal Home Energy Management System, as well as subsidies on energy-smart appliances like heat pump hot water systems, smart air-conditioners and electric vehicle (EV) chargers.

But it’s more than just equipment — it’s about education and empowerment. Homeowners will learn how to automate their energy usage to when solar is most abundant, reduce peak demand, and take real steps toward energy mastery.

The brains behind the smart home is a platform that learns your home’s energy patterns, helps automate key appliances, all while keeping you in the driver’s seat. And at the heart of that system? The hardware is doing all the heavy lifting.

Our 6 Channel CATCH Control device is now being deployed across all participating homes, enabling:

✅ Real-time monitoring of solar generation, battery charge/discharging cycles, and household consumption

✅ Orchestration of loads like hot water, EVs and air conditioning

✅ Automation algorithms that take into account any surplus solar, time-of-use pricing, weather forecasts, or grid demand

✅ Full visibility via the Clipsal app 

This partnership showcases how Aussie innovation can work hand-in-hand — with CATCH providing locally made, flexible energy hardware, and Clipsal delivering a smart, simple interface for homeowners.
