Day 1. 

Welcome

Guests are asked to Arrive between 12:00 - 1:00pm at CATCH Power HQ.
180 Dumaresq Street, Glen Innes. 

 

Lunch will be provided upon arrival. Guests will be welcomed and divided into two groups to take part in alternating tours:
 

  • Group A will visit SEATA, an innovative Australian company leading the way in clean energy and carbon capture. Their patented technology converts organic waste into renewable energy and biochar. Located a short 5 minute drive. 
     

  • Group B will enjoy a guided tour of the CATCH Power facility, getting a behind the scenes look at where our leading solar control technology is designed and built.
     

Once the first sessions wrap up, groups will swap, ensuring every guest gets the full experience.

Later in the afternoon, guests can check in to their accommodation before enjoying a relaxed evening of dinner and drinks at the New England Club.

 

It’s a perfect chance to unwind, share ideas, and connect with others.

Day 2. 

Reset and Recharge 

Day Two begins with breakfast at the New England Motor Lodge from 7:00am to 8:30am
 

At 8:30am, join Karolina Biernacka for a guided breathwork session a gentle opportunity to pause, reset, and start the day with focus and clarity. It’s a mindful way to centre yourself before a full day of ideas, learning, and inspiration.

Training – Learn from Industry Leaders

From there, guests can make their way to the Glen Innes Services Club (a 10‑minute walk) for a day of specialist training sessions delivered by some of the solar industry’s most trusted voices and innovators.
 

Running from 10:00am to 4:30pm, this session is dedicated to professional growth, technical insights, and collaboration with CPD points up for grabs. The perfect chance to gain new perspectives, ask questions, and share experiences with peers.

Simon Ceglinski

Head Technical and Strategic Projects, PowerPlus Energy

Simon Ceglinski is a recognised leader in Australia’s renewable energy storage sector, with over ten years of experience designing and supporting hybrid and off-grid battery systems. As Head of Technical and Strategic Projects at PowerPlus Energy, he delivers CPD-accredited training and regularly speaks at industry conferences on topics including system design, quality workmanship, and post-sale support as well as his normal job of overseeing all outward facing technical aspects of Australia’s largest lithium battery manufacturer.

 

Simon is also an active community leader, volunteering for more than 35 years with Surf Life Saving and having been awarded The National Medal (from the Governor General of Australia for services to the community where ones life is at risk), the 25 year service pin from Surf Life Saving Australia and the NSW Premiers Citation for the 2022 floods.

Shane Bridges is a solar industry professional with experience across sales and marketing roles in distribution, manufacturing, and now software, giving him a broad and practical view of how the industry operates end to end.

 

As an expert on the OpenSolar Platform, Shane focuses on the intersection of technology, commercial decision-making, and customer outcomes.

 

At the Catch Power retreat, he will share a grounded perspective on how electricity tariffs can be better understood and applied to support system design, business performance, and customer satisfaction.

Tiarna Hodge brings 13 years of experience in the solar industry with a passion for technical support. As RMA Manager she leads on-site technical and warranty support while overseeing interface integration for the iStore Home product suite.

Jason De Jong CATCH Power

Jason De Jong 

As a driving force behind CATCH Power, Jason De Jong has helped shape how solar is installed and used across the country. 

With a background in Software and Electrical Engineering, Jason obtained his Electrical licence and solar accreditation in 2015. Jason leads the development of CATCH’s innovative solutions at CATCH Power. 

 

At the CATCH retreat, Jason will share a behind the scenes look at CATCH Power’s technology and the journey from local startup to where we are now.

James is the Queensland State Manager at Fronius Australia. Based in Brisbane, he works closely with installers and partners to support the design and deployment of high-quality solar and energy storage systems.

 

James is passionate about advancing renewable energy through strong partnerships, technical expertise, and a focus on long-term system performance.

Tim Martorana – Tindo Sales Area Manager (NSW/ACT)

 

Based in Ballina Northern NSW and joined the Tindo team in September 2025.

He started his career as an electrician and now has over 20 years of experience in the electrical industry.

Most recently Tim operated as Business Development Manager for the MM Greentech Branch in Byron Bay.

Prior to Joining MMEM Tim was a Sales Area Manager for Scheider Electric (Clipsal) for over 12 years.

 

When he isn't working, Tim can be found on the sidelines as a professional sports photographer, he

captures the intensity of the game for top-tier bodies such as Cricket Australia, A-League, and Football Australia.

Day 2. 

Networking and Celebrations 

The day will wrap up with the chance to celebrate the day’s insights together with networking and drinks till 5:30pm.
 

As evening approaches, guests are encouraged to return to the Motor Lodge to freshen up for dinner.
Please be ready by 6:00pm, The two buses will depart from the front of the New England Motor lodge at 6:00 and 6:15 sharp.

 

Trust us don’t be late; Ben’s Falls Retreat isn’t a place you’ll stumble across by accident. Nestled along the Severn River, carved by hand and built with incredible craftsmanship, it’s a breathtaking, hidden gem you’ll only reach with our local guides. 
 

The evening promises great company, local flavours, and the perfect finish to two days of inspiration, learning, and community.
