Intelli Control uses weather forecasting, live solar production, household energy habits and network conditions to automatically determine the most cost-effective time to heat your water.
Rather than simply turning on when there's excess solar, it continuously learns and adapts, helping you maximise your solar savings while ensuring hot water is ready when your family needs it.

What makes Intelli Control Different?
Intelli Control looks beyond export limits and understands what your system is capable of. CATCH Control analyses over 300,000 data points every minute. That's more than 432 million data points every 24 hours, helping Intelli Control make the smartest decision about when and how to heat your hot water.
Most inverters now have some type of relay output that switches your hot water on once your solar exports reach a certain level. While this is a great way to use excess solar, it only reacts to what's happening at that moment.
Intelli Control takes a different approach.
Instead of simply waiting for excess solar, it watches and it learns:

Before You Enable Intelli-Control
Intelli Control works from 5am - 6pm and is still in development. With new features and improvements being released regularly.
For the best experience today, we recommend only enabling Intelli Control on sites where CATCH Control is managing your solar and/or battery system.
At this stage, we do not recommend enabling Intelli Control on sites with:

Non-integrated batteries

Electric vehicle (EV) charging

Wholesale electricity plans (e.g. Amber or Local Volts)
Support for these configurations is currently in development and may be released in the future.
